Umrah and/or Hajj performed on behalf of the disabled or deceased is carried out by our  students in legal sciences (Talab al-‘Ilm) part of Saudi universities.

You will receive three one-minute videos as proof of the Umrah being completed. 

A video for each key step (miqat / tawaf / sa’i) where the beneficiary’s name is mentioned and prayers are made for him/her. 

 

Al-Bukhari reports from Ibn ‘Abbas that a woman from Juhayna came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said:

"My mother had intended to fulfill her pilgrimage to Mecca, but she died before she could do it. Can I do it for her? – 'Yes, do it for her,' replied the Prophet. 'If your mother had left a debt, would you not have repaid it for her? Fulfill your debts, for debts owed to God are even more deserving of being honored.'"

How is this legitimate?

As recalled in a hadith reported by Al-Bukhari, when the mother of Juhayna’s wife was unable to perform her pilgrimage before her death, the Prophet (ﷺ) replied: "Yes, do it on her behalf. […] Debts owed to God are even more deserving of being fulfilled."

Receive your video proofs

You will receive three personalized videos (miqat, tawaf, sa’i) mentioning the beneficiary's name to confirm the completion of the Umrah.

Why place a Quran in Mecca in someone’s name?

Placing a Quran in Mecca is an act of sadaqa jariya, a continuous charity. Every time someone reads the Quran, good deeds (hassanat) are accumulated for the beneficiary. It’s a beautiful way to create a lasting spiritual legacy for yourself or a loved one, while strengthening your connection to the holy city.

How can I be sure the Quran will actually be placed in Mecca?

We understand how important transparency and trust are in these acts of charity. Each Quran placement is recorded on video, and a frame linking to the video is sent to you. You’ll be able to see the exact moment the Quran is placed and listen to the prayers (duaas) made for the recipient.

What happens if I want to dedicate this Quran to someone who has passed away?

Dedicating a Quran to someone who has passed away is a wonderful way to offer them ongoing rewards. According to the hadith, "When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three things: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them" (Sahih Muslim). Your act of charity will help the deceased receive rewards every time the Quran is read.
